We aim to minimise our meters environmental impact throughout it's entire lifecycle. By employing a eco-design process, and involving experts in materials, power management and IT systems, we ensure our meters are considerate to the environment from manufacturing, to installation and even on-street operations.
When it does come time to retire a Parkeon meter (usually not for at least 10 years) over 95% of the meter can be recycled, including the batteries.
